According to Wabetainfo, Meta-owned instant messaging platform, WhatsApp, is working on a new feature that will allow users to synchronise their chats with multiple devices simultaneously. WABetaInfo spotted this new feature in version 2.25.15.13 of WhatsApp for Android.
The feature is currently under development and won't be available for regular users until it is released as part of the official stable update. The report also mentions that the instant messaging platform will add the same feature to WhatsApp for Web.
The feature builds up for WhatsApp Multi-device v2.0, wherein users will have the flexibility of using multiple devices to access their messages and media files on WhatsApp.
According to another recent report by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is also developing a feature that will hide users' online status from contacts on the platform, while choosing to show it to select users.
