Web3 Startup Zyber 365 Raises $100 Mn, Becomes India's First Unicorn In 2023

Web3 cybersecurity startup Zyber 365 announced a significant milestone on Tuesday, as it successfully raised USD 100 million in its Series A funding round from the UK-based SRAM & MRAM Group.

The investment has propelled Zyber 365's valuation to USD 1.2 billion, solidifying its position as India's first unicorn startup in the year 2023.

Founded in May 2023 by Indian-origin entrepreneurs Pearl Kapur and Sunny Vaghela, Zyber 365 has rapidly gained attention in the cybersecurity space for its decentralised and cyber-secured operating system. The company's commitment to environmental sustainability in its offerings has also garnered appreciation.

In a statement, Zyber 365 revealed its plans to leverage the raised capital for expanding its operations, enhancing technological capabilities, and establishing a stronger global market presence. Notably, the UK-based company aims to make India the central hub of its operations, aligning with its founders' heritage.

Zyber 365's diverse portfolio encompasses a range of Web3 products, including Layer-0, Layer-1, and Layer-2 blockchains, decentralized identities, data analytics, software development kit, web browser, non-fungible token (NFT) marketplace, and initial coin offering (ICO) solutions. These offerings can be utilised either as a comprehensive Web3 ecosystem or as standalone applications, tailored to meet specific user requirements.

With this recent funding round, Zyber 365 has earned the distinction of being India's and Asia's fastest unicorn, highlighting the exceptional growth trajectory of the startup. Additionally, the entry of Zyber 365 into the unicorn club has brought the Indian startup ecosystem an exciting new addition, marking the second unicorn in about a year following Molbio Diagnostics' inclusion in September 2022.
