Kutumb is India’s leading app for large, private communities. It is capable of accommodating an unlimited number of people in a single community and caters to entities like political parties, sangathans, non-profit organisations and associations of all kinds. It was started in July 2020. The app enables community moderators to offer users memberships, collect donations, and also provides its users with identification cards. Uable is a Bangalore based social app only for teens. Here teens can join micro-communities called Clubs based on their interests, connect with like-minded people and build on their passion. Uable app is live since September 2021, and it has successfully engaged with over 500,000 teenagers and has close to 250,000 active users. This first-of-its-kind teen community, fulfills all their needs through highly relevant and curated products and services, integrated with unique and engaging content.
Leher
Leher is a Bangalore-based social networking app. It is a discussion social network which lets users join live, real-time discussion clubs focused on certain topics. It supports both audio and video mode of live discussion compared with the audio-based Clubhouse. The app can be used by anyone and only seeks invitations for private clubs. This app was launched in 2018 and it has one lakh, daily average users, with two million downloads.
Pepul
Pepul is a Chennai-based social network with a huge focus on security and safety. It aims to help like-minded people connect online and then create communities offline. In February 2021, the team launched Pepul in closed private beta with a few users, and did the A/B product testing. Close to two lakh users were signed up to join this private beta. 10 lakh people have downloaded this app so far.
