“Stop reading, start doing” says the young energetic Sindu Shreebhavan, the founder of As Many Minds Pte Ltd. Taking the edge at the Women Economic Forum 2017, Shreebhavan inspired the entrepreneurs who have faced failures in their lives and also those who are afraid to execute their ideas.
“Path to Innovation” is one of the areas Sindu expertises in. She feels it is essential for an entrepreneur to unlock their innovative mind. Taking an example from reality, Sindu highlights that most people follow the pavement path in the park but only a few can channel their energy in creating their own path. Similarly, the human mind is so used to strolling on the usual path that it gets lazy and unmotivated to create a different path.
Another attribute that Sindu focused on was social pressure that entrepreneurs face in contemporary times. Beware of “idea killers” that are in sleep mode and discourage anyone who is keen to stay awake and think! The sleep mindset or the ‘sheep mentality’ of individuals has slowed the growth of skill and motivation across the society.
The founding editor of The Kidz Parade Edutainment Magazine, Asia’s premium magazine that nurtures and promotes children’s creativity, Sindu Shreebhavan also specialises in Innovation Management. Contrasting the mass belief, she highlights that it is not the quality of ideas that matter but the quantity of ideas that matter. Eventually, a good idea would turn up.
The Green Line. The international line that borders the country of Israel once had the horizon of deserts but now it is covered with green land. While many discouraged the citizens to grow trees across the land, they did it. They had the courage to do it. So, it depends on the individual to have the courage to “be on dry side of desert or make your side the green side”
