Karnataka’s Minister for Large and Medium Industries and Infrastructure Development M.B. Patil on Tuesday announced the upcoming Invest Karnataka Summit 2025 during a roadshow in New Delhi. Scheduled for next year, the summit, themed “Reimagining Growth,” will focus on tech-driven, green, inclusive, and resilient economic growth. The Global Investors Meet 2025 aims to attract over 5,000 senior delegates, featuring more than 100 speakers and 30+ technical and cultural sessions.
Invest Karnataka 2025 will serve as a platform for industry-government collaboration, promoting investment opportunities and fostering thought leadership. Key highlights include the inaugural SME Connect 2025, the second edition of VentuRISE – the Global Startup Challenge, and the Startup Conclave. The summit is expected to strengthen Karnataka’s manufacturing landscape, with a focus on large industries, startups, and SMEs.
Patil emphasised the summit’s significance, stating, "Karnataka is a global leader, home to 45 unicorns and nearly 40 per cent of the country’s upcoming unicorns. We are building an ecosystem that fosters innovation while linking financial investments to our state's identity." He added that the summit will shape Karnataka into a prosperous, inclusive, and sustainable state, showcasing its rich cultural heritage alongside its technological advancements.
The event will also introduce the Future of Innovation Expo, featuring cutting-edge innovations in sectors such as electronics, healthcare, and space technology. This platform will offer live demonstrations and interactive experiences, underlining Karnataka's role as a technology leader.
Earlier, Patil met with Simon Wong Wie Kuen, the Singapore High Commissioner, to explore collaboration between Karnataka and Singapore. They discussed a recent MoU focused on semiconductors, digital advancements, healthcare, and education. Singaporean companies expressed interest in investing in Karnataka’s data centres, medical device manufacturing, and pharmaceuticals. Singapore was invited to be a country partner for Invest Karnataka 2025, further strengthening ties between the two regions.
The summit promises to be a landmark event, positioning Karnataka as a global leader in industry, innovation, and culture.
