On the company’s relavance a decade from now: From how the human race is evolving into a different plateau of existence, all thanks to technology, we will only be getting further into a mode of living which is extremely deep-rooted with cyber in every aspect.
Thus, cyber security will become a requirement from an integrity and reliability perspective of technology. Therefore, as long as cyber security remains relevant, we believe we will be one of the important voices with the work that we do.
On the future of the business: We are directly a function of how rapidly the digital world is evolving. We believe that business models will change in their entirety, since we are moving into an era where everything business/consumer/government will be tech-enabled. Therefore, it is a very rapidly growing business.
On the importance of AI and blockchain to the business: AI is a very natural progression that any platform will need to adapt to or become obsolete. Blockchain, on the other side, is a new data structure, and the way it is designed, it is very high on maintaining integrity across difference blocks it is linked to. We believe that we will be securing a lot of AI and blockchain-enabled businesses.
On the possibility of shrinking jobs due to technology intervention in the sector: We are in one of the rare industries where we would be having an explosion of requirement. According to a research done by Ponemon Institute, globally, there is a requirement of more than 5 million cyber security professionals, whereas, on ground, we have less than a million (globally).
On the possibility that with the adoption of newer technologies, newer job opportunities could be created: The good part of being in a niche industry is that you want to hire more people that are experienced in those niche fields, who come with the required expertise and obviously there’s a huge demand for the same.
