Samsung Unveils WindFree Indoor Chilled Water Air Conditioners
New air conditioner range features bladeless technology for quiet functioning in modern spaces
The WindFree line of indoor chilled water air conditioners are Samsung's newest product. In order to deliver cooling without the need for direct cold breezes, this range of chilled water-based cassette units uses 360-degree Bladeless and Wind-Free Technology.
These devices include temperature control and can disperse cold air up to 15,000 micro-air holes at a speed of 0.15 m/sec. Suitable for use in bedrooms, studies and newborn nurseries, the airflow technology enables rapid cooling with a low operating noise level of about 24 dB(A).
Water pipes and associated valves connect these Fan coil unit WindFree air conditioners to a Central Chilled Water System. The Hydronic Fan Coil Units circulate hot or cold water through coils to heat or cool big rooms. They are compatible with Samsung Air-cooled Chillers and other manufacturers of water- and air-cooled chillers.
Mr. Vipin Agrawal, Senior Director of SAC Business at Samsung India, states that the objective is to provide creative solutions that combine durability and simplicity. The purpose of the chilled water fan coil systems is to enhance and calm airflow systems for greater usability while offering silent operation and cooling for huge rooms.
There are three versions of chilled water fan coil units made by Samsung. With capacities ranging from 2.6KW to 4.2KW, the 1 Way Cassette has an auto swing function and a broad blade to swiftly chill vast areas and distribute air uniformly. It is appropriate for locations with limited space because of its thin design, which measures only 135 mm in height and fits into 155 mm ceiling spaces. The broad blade design of the 4 Way Cassette, which has capacities ranging from 6.0KW to 10.0KW, delivers cooling performance by directing air to specific locations while preventing dispersion.
With capacities ranging from 6.0KW to 10.0KW, the 360-degree Chilled Water Cassette also has a circular design that complements modern architectural settings. It evenly distributes air in all directions without producing cold drafts and can remove up to 25 per cent more air. The lowest capacity model is offered through Samsung's network of approved offline partners in India for Rs 35,000.
