Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) recently released its payments made above Rs 25 lakh for the month of June 2017. Rohit Sharma obtained Rs 1.12 crore as share of gross revenue 2015-16 international tournaments played in and outside India, while Ajinkya Rahane received Rs 1.10 crore and R Ashwin received Rs 1.01 crore for the same.
The list features names of former coach Anil Kumble who pocketed Rs 48 lakh as professional fee for April 2017, other current players, along with IPL teams like Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore and state cricket associations for hosting international matches.
Among the bowlers, Bhuvneshwar Kumar was paid Rs 67 lakh, Umesh Yadav bagged Rs 83 lakh while Amit MIshra received Rs 42 lakh. Other players in the list include Manish Pandey who received Rs 29 lakh while Suresh Raina received Rs 32 lakh as a share of gross revenue for 2015-16 International Tournament played in outside India.
Among the state associations, Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) received Rs 1.69 crore as hosting fees for India Vs New Zealand held on 23rd October 2016. Hyderabad Cricket Association also received a sum of Rs 63 lakh for hosting the final match held at Hyderabad for IPL Season 2017.
Foreign payments include Cricket South Africa (CSA) received a sum of Rs 4.03 crore as IPL 2016 release fee while New Zealand Cricket (NZC) were given a sum of Rs 1.35 crore as IPL 2016 release fee.
Among the IPL sides, Knight Riders Sports Private Limited raked in a sum of Rs 15.75 crore while Royal Challengers Sports Private Limited received Rs 21 crore.
