Dr. Saurabh Gadgil’s ambition to become a jewellery entreprenuer started at a young age, guided and mentored by none other than his grandfather and Maharashtra stalwart, Late Shri Daji Kaka Gadgil, on whose able shoulders P.N. Gadgil Jewellers was formed with its core values of commitment, purity and trust. Through nearly two centuries, the brand has walked the same path servicing generations of families across India and abroad.

In the year 2000, Saurabh completed his MBA from Symbiosis, Pune and joined the family business full time.Saurabh is a 6th generation entrepreneur at the helm of a 187 year old legacy business.

When he took over the responsibilities, PNG Jewellers was a typical family run organization. Every function in the organization was run by the owner or other family members. It is under the active guidance of his grandfather, Saurabh started turning the family run business into a well-oiled corporate machinery.

Having completed 20 years in the business, Saurabh and his team has expanded it from a single store in Pune to a chain of stores in India and abroad. PNG Jewellers has 34 stores across the globe with 32 in India, 1 in the USA and 1 in Dubai. They are the largest jewellery chain of Maharashtra. They are also one of the first jewellery brands to do a pilot program of digital gold in India.

Through the years, thebrand has collaborated with some of the biggest stars in Bollywood, likeMadhuri Dixit, Salman Khan, RaveenaTandon,Sushmita Sen, and many

more. The brand has also become the go-to temple jewellery expert for the DagduShethMaharajGanpati Mandal and many other Temple Trusts in Maharashtra.

PNG Jewellers has a very active CSR arm. The company is a sustainable development custodian for two villages around Pune.They also run the ‘Think Pure’ foundation, which focuses on areas of cultural importance like theatre, music, arts and crafts!

Through the pandemic, they actively carried out donation drives to support frontline workers with PPE kits and patients with lifesaving drugs. They also launched a helpline for employees to support their mental health needs.
