Nothing has introduced its latest mid-range smartphone, the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus, in India today. This new model is an updated version of the Nothing Phone (2a), which debuted earlier this year. The Nothing Phone (2a) Plus improves on its predecessor with a better camera system, a redesigned design, an upgraded display and faster charging speeds.
The Nothing Phone (2a) Plus is available in two RAM and storage configurations, both with 256GB of storage. The base model has 8GB of RAM and is priced at Rs 27,999, while the higher variation has 12GB of RAM and costs Rs 29,999. As part of an introductory promotion, the Phone (2a) Plus will receive a Rs 3,000 reduction on 7 August, lowering its effective starting price to Rs 24,999. The smartphone is available in both black and grey colours.
The smartphone has a 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a peak brightness of 1,300 nits, all covered by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Nothing and MediaTek collaborated to develop the MediaTek Dimensity 7350 Pro processor, which powers the smartphone.
The phone keeps the glyph lights from the Phone (2a) and has a 5,000mAh battery that supports 50W fast charging and 5W reverse wired charging. It runs Nothing OS 2.6, which is based on Android 14, and will receive three years of Android upgrades plus four years of security fixes.
The Nothing Phone (2a) Plus has three cameras- a 50MP primary camera, a 50MP ultra-wide sensor and a 50MP selfie camera. The gadget also features twin speakers, IP54 certification, NFC capability and an in-display fingerprint scanner. The Nothing Phone (2a) Plus is a respectable improvement that includes new features and characteristics intended at improving the user experience in the mid-range smartphone market.
