Construction heavyweight Larsen & Toubro (L&T) on Monday said that its hydrocarbon business – L&T Energy Hydrocarbon (LTEH) has secured a ‘significant’ order under its Advanced Value Engineering and Technology (AdVENT) business vertical.
The company classifies significant orders which are valued between Rs 1,000 crore to Rs 2,500 crore.
The order is for licence plus engineering, procurement, and construction of a Technical Ammonium Nitrate (TAN) plant along with Weak Nitric Acid (WNA) plant at Gadepan, Kota, Rajasthan from Chambal Fertilisers and Chemicals Limited (CFCL).
The company said that the TAN and WNA plants will be built under a technology licence from CASALE S.A., a privately owned Swiss Company.
Last week, LTEH had secured multiple offshore packages from a client in the Middle East. It had classified it as ‘mega’ order which are projects worth more than Rs 7,000 crore.
Shares of L&T were trading higher on Monday, up 1.48 per cent at Rs 2,307 apiece as of 2:56 pm.
