Infosys has topped CRISIL’s ESG scores in their latest report ‘CRISIL Sustainability Yearbook, 2022’ for the second consecutive year. The yearbook positioned Infosys in the Leadership category with an overall score of 76 on 100 (the score was assigned on a scale of 1-100, with 100 denoting best-in-class ESG performance). Infosys has scored 81 on environmental parameters and 62 and 80 on social and governance parameters, respectively.
The study by CRISIL evaluated 586 companies across 53 sectors in India based on information for three years (up to and including fiscal 2021) of publicly available ESG information considering both quantitative and qualitative disclosures of companies. The parameters on which the companies were evaluated were:
