IIFL Finance Appoints TS Ramakrishnan As Additional Director

IIFL Finance's board, following a recommendation from the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and in alignment with guidance from the Life Insurance Committee, has officially appointed T S Ramakrishnan as an additional non-executive director. This announcement was made through an exchange filing. Ramakrishnan will assume his new role effective from 26 October 2023.

T S Ramakrishnan, who currently serves as the Managing Director and CEO of LIC Mutual Funds, brings a diverse and accomplished background to this position. He holds an Honors Bachelor of Commerce degree, a PGDIM degree, and a Diploma in Health Insurance. 

Additionally, he is a fellow member of the Insurance Institute of India. His career journey includes joining LIC as an Administrative Officer in 1988, gaining experience in various aspects of life insurance, group, and pension schemes. Notably, he has also spent three years at LIC Housing Finance, focusing on marketing and recovery.

Additionally, IIFL Home Finance has secured a USD 100 million loan from IFC, further strengthening its financial position and capabilities.
