Huwaei sub brand Honor has sent out invites for a smartphone launch which will take place on May 22. Earlier the company had launched Honor 7X in India, now the upcoming smartphone could be Honor 7A or Honor 7C from the Honor 7 line-up.
The Honor 7 line-up includes mid-range smartphones and the upcoming device (probably Honor 7C) might be priced somewhere between Rs 10,000 to Rs 15,000.
The handset is already available in China, comes in two RAM+Storage variants of 3GB+32GB and 4GB+64GB. The former variant is priced at CNY 899 (roughly Rs 9,600) and the latter at CNY 1,299 (roughly Rs 13,850).
Honor 7C runs on EMUI 8.0 which is based on Android 8.0 Oreo. The handset is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 octa-core processor coupled with 3GB/4GB of RAM. It has 32GB/64GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 256GB through a MicroSD card.
Honor 7C features a 5.99-inch HD+ (1440x720) FullView display with 18:9 aspect ratio. It sports a dual camera setup at the rear which includes 13-megapixel+2-megapixel with PDAF and LED flash. On the front is an 8-megapixel selfie snapper with fixed focus lens.
The dual-SIM handset is backed by a 3,000mAh battery. Honor 7C measures 158.3 x 76.7 x 7.8mm and weighs 164 grams. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, USB 2.0, 3.5mm headphone-jack, and Location.
