Honor 7X With Bezel-Less Display To Go On Sale Through Amazon India From 7 December

Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has officially announced that the much awaited Honor 7X will go on sale in India from 7 December 12 pm onwards through Amazon. Honor 7X will be launched on 5 December at an event in London.

Honor has partnered with Amazon and the device is already listed on their portal. Customers can avail unique offers on registering the Honor 7X through Amazon.

Overall, there will be twenty winners who will receive Honor 7X devices after having partaken in the ‘Amazon Registration and Amazon App Event’. As a bumper prize, seven lucky registered Amazon users will also win holiday packages from Yatra worth Rs. 75,000. Honor will also give away 150, 10000mAh power banks and 850 earphones with mic to select amazon customers. 

Noor Patel, Director Category Management, Amazon India, said “Reiterating our exclusive partnership with Honor, post successfully launching their flagship devices like Honor 6X, Honor 8 Pro, etc. We are now thrilled to offer our customers exclusive access to yet another impressive device, the Honor 7X. 

The smartphone was launched in China last month at a price of CNY 1,299 (roughly Rs 12,890) for 32GB, CNY 1,699 (roughly Rs 16,850) for 64GB, and CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs 19,820) for 128GB variant. However it is not clear that which variants will be launched in India.

Huawei aims to lead the Indian smartphone market which is currently led by Samsung, Xiaomi, Vivo and Oppo. Huawei Global President George Zhao told IANS "We will launch Honor 7X in December at such a price that it will have no competitor in that segment.”

He also added, “We have the capability to outcompete other dominating players in the Indian smartphone market in terms of quality, but our marketing efforts need to improve.”

Honor 7X runs runs on EMUI 5.1 based on Android 7.0 Nougat. It is powered by Octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 659 processor coupled with 4GB RAM. It comes in three storage variants of 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB; storage in all variants can be expanded up to 256GB through hybrid a dual SIM configuration.

The Honor smartphone features a 5.93-inch FHD+ (2160x1080) display with 18:9 aspect ratio. It sports a dual camera setup with 16-MP+2-MP sensors, on the front is an 8-megapixel selfie-snapper.

It is backed by a 3,340mAh battery and has a rear mounted fingerprint sensor; connectivity options are – Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 4G VoLTE, and GPS.
