Fujifilm India has introduced Fujifilm X-T50 mirrorless digital camera, the latest model in the X series. The camera aims to deliver enhanced image quality with colour reproduction technology in a compact, lightweight body.
The X-T50 weighs approximately 438g, and features a back-illuminated 40.2-megapixel X-Trans CMOS 5 HR sensor, a X-Processor 5 image processing engine and a 5-axis and up to 7.0-stop in-body image stabilisation function. The camera is combined with a new standard zoom lens FUJINON XF16-50mmF2.8-4.8 R LM WR making it more equipped for capturing images in versatile situations.
A ‘Film Simulation’ dial is incorporated on the top plate allowing the user to easily switch between ‘Film Simulations’, enabling a wide variety of colour tones. The improved pixel structure allows more light to be captured efficiently, ISO 125 is adopted as the normal sensitivity, which was previously used as the extended sensitivity for cameras. The electronic shutter can be set to a shutter speed of 1/180000 sec at the fastest, enabling a better control of exposure time.
The gadget has an AI-based subject detection AF (auto-focus) developed using deep learning technology. The camera’s AF prediction algorithm, as claimed is more advanced than that of previous models enabling more comfortable shooting of a wide range of subjects such as fast-moving cars and animals.
There are total of 20 ‘Film Simulation’ modes available for X-T5o including ‘REALA ACE,’ which combines colour reproduction and tonal gradations. Approximately 40.2 megapixels is utilised by the digital teleconverter function. Images can be magnified 1.4x and 2x.
The camera is also equipped with a 5-axis in-body image stabilisation function with a maximum of 7.0 stops. Tracking AF function during video recording is also available for video recording and 6.2K/30P video recording is possible with the camera. The camera can shoot in AUTO mode, which detects the scene and automatically selects the optimal shooting settings.
The new model featuring a 1.84 million-dot, tiltable rear LCD monitor, has a round shaped body design and is available for Rs 1,49,999.
