Early on Tuesday 21 June, Cloudflare had to sort out a widespread outage that brought down many services including Zerodha, NordVPN, Groww, Upstox and more. The companies took to Twitter to notify users of the downtime.
Continuing on similar lines of outage that happened internationally, Cloudflare outage affected many popular sites across India earlier on Tuesday. The internet infrastructure company did not comment on the reason of the outage but was able to fix it within an hour of reports coming out in open.
Zerodha took to Twitter early on Tuesday to notify on users that it was experiencing issues. "We are getting reports of intermittent connectivity issues on Kite via the Cloudflare network for users on certain ISPs. We are taking this up with Cloudflare. In the meanwhile, please try using an alternate internet connection", said Zerodha in its tweet.
“Cloudflare (network transit, proxy, security provider) used by most of the internet businesses around the world, is having a global outage. If you are unable to use our websites or apps, please try switching to a different ISP as a different route may work”, it added.
After being down for a brief time, the sites came back online as Cloudflare took to Twitter to announce that the issue has been resolved.
