Capital Small Finance Bank has announced that its overall business expanded by 15.58 per cent, reaching Rs 12,584 crore for the quarter ending in June 2023.
The bank, headquartered in Jalandhar, had recorded a total business of Rs 10,888 crore during the corresponding period in the previous fiscal year, as per an official statement.
During this period, the bank observed a growth of 14.64 per cent in deposits, resulting in a total of Rs 7,064 crore. Furthermore, advances increased by 16.81 per cent, totaling Rs 5,519 crore.
The bank's net worth experienced significant growth, rising by 28.81 per cent to reach Rs 691 crore during the initial quarter of the current fiscal year.
Sarvjit Singh Samra, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Capital Small Finance Bank, expressed satisfaction with the strong profits achieved. He emphasised the resilience of the bank's business model and the effectiveness of strategic initiatives.
