BenQ India has introduced the BenQ Board RE04 Series, a new interactive flat panel (IFP) approved under the Google Enterprise Devices Licencing Agreement (EDLA). This series incorporates Google Mobile Services (GMS) and seeks to improve collaboration spaces in educational and business settings.
The BenQ Board RE04 series comes in 65-inch, 75 inch and 86 inch sizes and boasts 4K UHD resolution and superior touch functionality. The EDLA certification allows users to utilise Google Drive, Maps, Meet, YouTube and Google Workspace apps (Docs, Sheets and Slides) straight from Google Play.
As part of the 'Make in India' programme, two RE04 series models, the RE04 and RE04N, are being produced in India. Rajeev Singh, Managing Director of BenQ India and South Asia, emphasised the integration of Google Mobile Services and the local production of two models as major features of the introduction.
BenQ India has collaborated with the Himalayan Institute of Alternatives, Ladakh (HIAL) as part of a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) effort to offer the latest RE04 Series IFPs and projectors to the institute's new campus. This programme attempts to provide modern teaching resources to pupils in the Himalayas. Sonam Wangchuk, HIAL's Founding Director and Gitanjali JB, HIAL's Founder and CEO, saw the benefits of this technology for their educational initiatives.
The RE04 Series contains features such as EZWrite 6 whiteboarding software and the InstaShare 2 wireless screen sharing solution. It also includes the BenQ Account Management System (AMS) and the BenQ Device Management Solution (DMS), which enable effective remote control. Also, the new BenQ Boards have a germ-resistant screen layer and flicker-free technology.
The Google EDLA Certified BenQ Board RE04 Series will be available via licenced BenQ distributors from August 2024.
