Australia's Opposition Leader and former Defence Minister, Peter Dutton is visiting India with 20 top Industrialists this week to participate in the 4-day Economic Trade Delegation Summit starting from 1st November.
The Economic Trade Delegation Summit is scheduled to take place at the Hotel Leela Palace from November 1st to 4th November 2023. The primary focus of this trade delegation, led by Dr Jagvinder Singh Virk and Peter Dutton, is to forge successful trade and business alliances following the Free Trade Agreement signed by the Indian and Australian Governments in the year 2022.
This year the overarching theme of the trade delegation is "Driving Businesses to the Next Effective Levels" in an increasingly interconnected global economy often referred to as 'The Global Village.' The summit seeks to drive growth and productivity in various industries, including education, space, agriculture, information technology, health care, financial technology, rural development, defense, and renewable energy.
The summit aims to shed light on the path that business leaders and social entrepreneurs follow and will emphasise the role of business mentorship, funding assistance and market understanding in facilitating the success of international collaborations. The initiative is to place social enterprises at the heart of both India and Australia's developmental goals, contributing significantly to the growth and prosperity of both nations.
The meticulously planned four-day delegation will have focused sessions designed to maximise the impact of businesses and support systems that enable the growth of Indian and Australian companies.
Furthermore, the summit will serve as an opportunity for delegates to pay a visit to the Akshardham Temple on the morning of 1st November and offer their respects at the Sri Bangla Sahib Gurdwara on the morning of 2nd November 2023, as part of their cultural engagement during the visit.
