Mayank Sharma, Associate Director, Sales, St. Regis Mumbai, has won the best negotiator award at a prestigious international UN conference in Dubai, recognising his exceptional contributions to discussions on Digital Diplomacy and Artificial Intelligence in the Israel-Palestine conflict.
Sharma, a hospitality industry professional was representing India at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), addressing global leaders on digital diplomacy and artificial intelligence.
Notably, this forum provides a platform for young professionals eager to make a meaningful impact by engaging in interactive sessions that address the challenges of our modern world. Participants developed resolutions to combat these pressing issues while gaining hands-on experience in UN-style committee sessions, experiencing firsthand the art of diplomacy.
This year, over 150 young professionals from more than 85 nations gathered to discuss one of the most pressing global concerns under the theme, "Youth of Today, Leaders of Tomorrow."
Earlier, the official statement read, “We are honoured to host inspiring diplomats from diverse regions who will guide young delegates from across the globe with valuable insights and lessons in diplomacy.”
