Assembly Elections 2023 – What Stars Foretell
CHATTISGARH
The elections for 90 assembly seats will happen in two phases on 7th November and 17th November 2023. The main contestants are the BJP and Congress.
In the first phase in South Chattisgarh, the poll will be held for 20 seats and the chart of the day shows a tough battle between both parties and the result may be a close call between two major opponents.
In the second phase for 70 seats in North Chattisgarh, the Congress has a clear advantage over BJP. In this phase, rebels of the BJP may play spoilsport. In the end, it seems that the ruling Congress is likely to retain power in Chattisgarh.
MADHYA PRADESH
The elections for 230 assembly seats happened on 17th Nov. 2023. The main contestants are BJP & Congress.
The chances of BJP coming back to power are very bleak as the chart indicates that the ruling party is likely to lose. Thus the formation of the new government is likely to be by Congress and it’s going to be one way election.
MIZORAM
The elections for 40 assembly seats will take place on 7th Nov. 2023. The main contestants are MNF and MSA supported by Congress.
It seems that the MSA is going to have a cakewalk in the elections.
RAJASTHAN
The elections for 200 assembly seats will take place on 25th Nov. 2023. The main contestants are Congress & BJP.
The ruling party Congress is likely to retain power by simple majority and BJP will have to contend with opposition role.
TELANGANA
The elections for 119 assembly seats will take place on 30th Nov. 2023. The main contestants are ruling BRS and Congress.
As par chart of Election Day, it seems that Telangana is heading for hung assembly post 3rd December 2023.
Overall the BJP is going to suffer badly in this run-up to the 2024 general elections. The adverse dasha of Moon-Saturn is giving tough time to BJP but this will be over in February 2024 and their performance will be much better in general elections in 2024.
