Acer has unveiled Acer Nitro V 16, powered by AMD Ryzen R7 8845HS Series processors, NVIDIA GeForce 4060 series AI graphics, 16GB of DDR5 RAM and a 1TB SSD, the company’s first fully AI-integrated gaming laptop, aimed at bringing advanced technology to the gaming community. The Copilot feature in Windows 11 supports this configuration.
The Nitro V 16 has a 16-inch display with a 16:10 WQXGA resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. With a refresh rate of 165 Hz and 100 per cent sRGB colour accuracy, the screen offers clear and colourful images for multimedia and gaming purposes. Acer has also incorporated sophisticated cooling methods, such as a dual-fan system with quad-intake and quad-exhaust vents, which are intended to efficiently manage heat in order to preserve optimal CPU and GPU performance. The NitroSense key gives users additional control over the cooling system by enabling them to pick between several modes, such as Eco, Quiet, Balance and Performance, and to alter fan speeds.
A MUX switch on the laptop enables users to switch between discrete and integrated GPUs, depending on the work at hand, and maximise performance. With DTS Ultra Audio, you can enjoy higher-quality audio with boosted bass and loudness, adaptable sound settings and compatibility for high-impedance headphones. Gigabit Ethernet, USB4 40Gbps and Wi-Fi 6E are among the connectivity options that guarantee dependable and quick communications.
The Nitro V 16 also brings AI-powered features like Purified Voice 2.0, which removes background noise from video conversations and gaming and Copilot, which helps with productivity activities. For controlling camera and microphone settings during video conversations, the laptop also has an Acer Quick Panel. The laptop, which retails for Rs 1,09,999, is now offered in Acer-only retailers.
