In a recent development, the English national daily from the HT Media group has shut down its business bureau. Sources say the business pages of the Hindustan Times will now made by Mint.
Suveen Sinha who was heading the business desk has been asked to leave the organisation.
Sunny Sen, Senior Assistant Editor and Suchetana Ray were shifted to HT online. Mahuaa Venkatesh, Assistant editor, is shifted to political bureau.
An HT media staffer, however, termed the current situation as 'morbid'.
