The first thing to do is to cancel your policy within the free look period of 15 days which is only available to you if the policy period is for 3 years. So if you end up getting a policy which doesn’t fit your medical requirements then you may cancel it. Or if you feel if your sum insured is low then you can get the top up on your insurance policy.
