The Urban Development Secretary, Mr Rajiv Gauba, in an exclusive conversation with BW TV’s Editor-in-Chief, Anurag Batra, says that the first few months of the Smart Cities Mission were consumed by essential basic activities, and that a very large number of projects in the cities are ready to take off. 2017 and 2018 will really see a lot of action of ground.
He, however, feels one big challenge is the limited revenues of cities in the country and their limited capacity.
