We may use the free look period which IRDA provides for the first 15 days where the premium will be returned to you deducting the necessary costs. As term plans do not give us the option of surrender the policy, hence exiting the term plan would lose the money paid as premium. If already crossed the 15 day mark, you may let the policy lapse by not paying any premium.
