Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on 1st February presented Budget 2020-21 which evoked a mixed reaction from Indian industry. While many have lauded the FM for some progressive announcements, many of them, who had immense expectations, were implicitly not impressed. While congratulating the government to unshackle certain sectors, many expressed disappointment over the aspects that were ignored such as the removal of long-term capital gains tax.
