In the latest episode of BW Hotwires, Chetan Maini, Co-Founder and Chairman of the company tells Avishek Banerjee from BW Businessworld that its innovative approach of separating battery from vehicle and offering it on a ‘pay-as-you-go’ model enables the price of EVs to be similar to their ICE equivalents and the cost of energy to be lesser than fossil fuel. He also affirmed that Tesla could create the same manufacturing ecosystem for electric vehicles on the lines of what Apple did for smartphones India.
