To transform the financial landscape of rural Rajasthan, India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) and Hindustan Zinc joined hands. The collaboration will ensure in creation of a lasting impact on the lives of community beneficiaries around Hindustan Zinc’s operational areas, according to the statement. The MoU between IPPB and HZL was signed by Gursharan Rai Bansal – Chief Sales and Marketing Officer, IPPB and Arun Misra – CEO of Hindustan Zinc.

This alliance with HZL marks a very important milestone for us to expand our ambit of doorstep banking service delivery to the unserved and underserved people in this country,” said Gursharan Rai Bansal, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer, IPPB.

The key services provided by the IPPB will ensure Financial Inclusion and ensure aid for opening bank accounts, access to pension products, long-term savings, and investment schemes. It will further aid in providing support and Empowering over 3.5 lakh beneficiaries covering SHG women, farmers and youth to become Individual Business Correspondents for various IPPB services.
