Ayodhya is currently the hottest destination for the Indian aviation industry. On Wednesday, Air India Express started off its flight services connecting Ayodhya to Kolkata and Bengaluru. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath virtually inaugurated the Air India Express flight services in a ceremony, conducted through a video conference from the Chief Minister's official residence in Lucknow, marks a significant step in enhancing air connectivity to Ayodhya.
During the inauguration, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath emphasised Ayodhya's growing prominence as a tourist destination, not just within India but globally. He commended the Ministry of Civil Aviation for their commendable efforts in facilitating the influx of pilgrims and tourists to the sacred city.
"Ayodhya already has a large number of local devotees, but considering the excitement nationwide, efforts have been made to facilitate the arrival of pilgrims here. The work done by the Ministry of Civil Aviation in this regard is commendable," remarked CM Yogi.
Underlining Uttar Pradesh's emergence as a leading state in air connectivity, CM Yogi expressed gratitude to Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia and General VK Singh for their dedicated efforts. He credited the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the state's remarkable progress in welcoming new airports and becoming a significant hub with four international airports.
The event was attended by Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, Minister of State General Dr. VK Singh, and other dignitaries from Air India Express and Ayodhya through video conferencing. Scindia praised the transformative leadership of PM Modi and CM Yogi, envisioning a future with enhanced air connectivity for Ayodhya.
The ceremony celebrated not only the inauguration of flights but also marked the rapid expansion of air connectivity to Ayodhya, reflecting the continued commitment to development and progress in the region.
