Xiaomi Redmi 5A Rose Gold Variant Goes On Sale Today

Xiaomi’s entry level smartphone Redmi 5A is now also available in rose gold colour. The handset was launched in December last year in grey and gold colours.

The handset comes in two RAM+Storage variants of 2GB+16GB and 3GB+32GB which are priced at Rs 4,999 and Rs 6,999. It is available via Flipkart, Mi.com and Mi Home across India.

Axis Bank Buzz credit card holders will get 5 per cent discount and Jio users will also get a cashback of Rs 1,000 after 12 months on the purchase of Xiaomi Redmi 5A.

Xiaomi Redmi 5A runs on MIUI 9 based on Android 7.1 Nougat and powered by quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor coupled with 2GB/3GB RAM. It comes with 16GB/32GB internal storage which is expandable up to 128GB through a hybrid dual-SIM configuration.

The dual-SIM smartphone features a 5-inch HD (1280x720) display. It sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. On the front is a 5-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture.

Redmi 5A is backed by a 3000mAh battery. Connectivity options are- Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.1, micro-USB ports, Infrared, 3.5mm audio-jack, GPS. It measures 140.4 x 70.1 x 8.35mm and weighs 137 grams.
