Hands of Gold was started in 2015 by Sadaf Syed. The casual pursuit for a customizable paper mache product and its unavailability in the local market kindled her to initiate the entrepreneurial journey. This endeavour is filling the vacuum ever since and is bringing the best of Kashmir to the world with its bespoke offerings. "I have been lucky enough to have a strong support system at home where everyone has showered my kids with so much love. With 3 kids – all very close in age, I plan my day to the last minute. A lot of my work is done via video calls, voice notes etc. which doesn’t require me to be in person everywhere. I have tried to set up systems at work and home to ensure that everything runs smoothly irrespective of my presence." says Sadaf.
