Vu Technologies on Tuesday (13 March) launched their Android TV series -Vu Official Android TV in India.
To compete with Xiaomi’s recently launched Mi TV series, Vu Technologies has launched 4K LED TV in three screen sizes- 43-inches, 49-inches, and 55-inches. The TV sets will be available from 16 March in India through Flipkart and Vu’s flagship stores.
The price of Vu Official Android TV starts from Rs 36,999 (43-inch) in India. The 49-inches and 55-inches models are priced at Rs 46,999 and Rs 55,999, respectively.
The Vu Official Android TV runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and has access Google Play Store, YouTube, Google Games, and the complete Google ecosystem. In addition to Google, Vu has also partnered with Video on Demand service providers like Netflix, Hotstar, and ALTBalaji for the content.
The smart TVs are powered by a quad-core processor coupled with 2.5GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage. All three TV sets have Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Ethernet connectivity, three HDMI ports, two USB ports, one headphone jack, one RF input and one AV component port.
The 4K Smart TV sets feature two 10W speakers which supports DTS TruSurround and Dolby Digital.
All three models come with the ActiVoice remote feature which helps users to search, browse and select in 88 languages. The ActiVoice Search intelligence is also enabled to search within apps and recommend results according to a user’s preference.
