Chinese smartphone brand Vivo is going to launch Vivo V9 smartphone on 23rd March in India. Earlier Vivo V9’s launch was scheduled on 27th March. Vivo has teased the V9 with vertically placed dual camera setup. The handset might be priced around Rs 25,000 in India.
Ahead of the event, some images of the smartphone have surfaced on various websites. According to the leaked images, the handset will have a notched display with thin bezels like the iPhone X.
Vivo V9 runs on Funtouch OS 4.0 based on Android 8.0 Oreo. The handset will be powered by an Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor couples with 4GB RAM. It has 64GB internal storage which is expandable up to 256GB.
The dual-SIM Vivo V9 features a 6-inch full HD+ (2160x1080) AMOLED display with 18:9 aspect ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass. It is said to sport a 24-megapixel selfie snapper. On the rear is the dual-camera setup with 16-MP+5-MP sensors with LED flash light.
Vivo V9 is backed by a 3,250mAh battery and there is also a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. Vivo V9’s connectivity options might include- Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, USB 2.0, 4G VoLTE, and GPS.
The handset will be available in gold and black shades.
