Toyota Kirloskar Motor has launched the all-new 2018 Land Cruiser Prado in India for Rs 92.60 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
The SUV, available in VXL variant, comes equipped with 2982cc D-4D Diesel with Intercooler Turbocharger, 4 Cylinders In-line, 16 Valve DOHC engine that churns out 127kW @ 3400rpm and 410Nm @ 1600-2800rpm. The engine is mated to 5 speed automatic transmission and is offered in four wheel drive type.
2018 Land Cruiser Prado measures 4840mm X 1885mm X 1880mm, with 2790mm of wheelbase, and 87 litres of fuel tank capacity.
The seven seater is available in seven exterior colour paint options – White Pearl Crystal Shine, Silver Metallic, Gray Metallic, Blackish Ageha Glass Flake, Attitude Black Mica, Red Mica Metallic, Avant-Garde Bronze Metallic, and Vintage Brown Pearl Crystal Shine.
Some of its exterior features include - projector-type auto headlamps (LED) with headlamp washer, LED daytime running lights, body coloured door handles & chrome back door garnish, front / rear fog lamps, moonroof (electric tilt & slide), aero-stabilising fins on ORVM base & rear combination lamps, rear spoiler with integrated high mount stop lamp, and roof rails.
From the inside, Land Cruiser Prado has optitron combimeter with illumination control, electro chromic auto dimming inside rear view mirror, console box cooling, and overhead storage console with conversation mirror.
For the comfort and convenience of the consumers, Toyota is offering a host of features in the new 2018 facelift model. It comes equipped with automatic climate control with three zone independent control with rear temperature control, steering wheel with audio, MID & bluetooth switches, power steering with variable speed assist, power door lock with auto speed lock, electric tilt & telescopic steering column, multi information display, parking assist system, cruise control, downhill assist control, and hill-start assist control.
Its safety and security features include anti-lock braking system with electronic brake-force distribution & brake assist, 7 SRS airbags, vehicle stability control, tyre pressure monitoring system, and immobiliser.
2018 Land Cruiser Prado will compete with Audi Q7, and Mercedes-Benz GLS in India.
