Several prominent figures from India's IT and tech industry gathered in Ayodhya on Monday to partake in the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of the Ram Temple. Among the attendees was Zoho CEO Sridhar Vembu, who, accompanied by his family, expressed his gratitude for being present at the event, highlighting his mother's lifelong devotion to Lord Shri Ram.
Oyo Founder and CEO Ritesh Agarwal also graced the holy city, praising the temple's architectural brilliance. He acknowledged the collective effort of artisans from all corners of the country in constructing the monumental structure via a post on X (formerly known as Twitter).
“The gates are open! We're standing inside the temple grounds getting our first up-close look. The energy here is infectious- this is truly a historic moment! Chants and prayers can be heard as devotees stream in,” Agarwal wrote on X.
Nishant Pitti, co-founder of EaseMyTrip, echoed the sentiment, declaring the event as a historic moment for every Indian on X. Pitti conveyed the overwhelming emotions experienced upon arrival at the sacred site, describing the goosebumps that he and others felt in that impactful moment.
Sunil Bharti Mittal, founder and chairman of Bharti Enterprises, was also present at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, sharing the experience with friends.
The Pran Pratishtha ceremony attracted leaders who not only acknowledged the architectural marvel of the temple but also recognised the collaborative spirit of artisans from diverse backgrounds contributing to the project.
