Gopal Agrawal has been appointed as the Chief Investment Officer - Equities of Tata Asset Management. In this role, Gopal would lead the fund management and equity research team. In addition to his responsibilities as CIO - Equities, Gopal would be managing and co-managing several equity funds. He begins his new role on April 3, 2017.
Speaking on his appointment, Gopal said, “I have joined Tata Asset Management to serve the interests of our investors.”
Tata Asset Management has also appointed Murthy Nagarajan as Head – Fixed Income. He will be managing and co-managing fixed income funds. He will also have the additional responsibility of leading the credit research team.
