STF Arrests Sanjay Sherpuriya For Multi-crore Fraud
STF (Special Task Force) arrested Sanjay Sherpuriya from Vibhuti Khand area on Tuesday night, accusing him of fraudulently creating an organization and scamming people out of crores of rupees.
He had been under discussion previously as well. He claims to be close to senior BJP leaders and collects large sums of money from people by promising various incentives. He has also committed many other types of major fraud. STF can reveal this on Wednesday.
Sherpuriya runs an organisation called "For Youth," whose slogan is to make Gazipur self-sufficient through self-employment. According to sources, he claims to be a relative or close associate of prominent BJP leaders and officials.
He has occupied a luxurious bungalow in Delhi and created a similar large network in Gujarat. He lures people into doing his work by promising them jobs and then collects money from them. This amount is in the millions to crores of rupees.
STF has been investigating this for a long time and has arrested him after gathering solid evidence. Amitabh Yash, STF ADG, has confirmed the arrest of Sanjay Sherpuriya.
