Sony has launched the new selfie-centric smartphone Sony Xperia L2 in India. Priced at Rs 19,990, the handset is available in gold and black colours across the country.
Sony Xperia L2 runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat and powered by a MT6737T processor coupled with 3GB RAM. It has 32GB storage which is expandable up to 256GB through a MicroSD card.
It features a 5.5-inch HD (1280x720) display with Sony’s Image Enhance technology and Corning Gorilla Glass for protection. Sony L2 sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, 3X clear image zoom and LED flash. On the front is an 8-megapixel selfie-camera with 120-degree wide-angle lens.
The dual-SIM Sony Xperia L2 is backed by a 3,300 mAh battery which comes with Qnovo Adaptive Charging technology and battery care which adjusts the charging current to avoid damage and maximise its lifespan. There is also a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor with which users can unlock the handset.
Connectivity options are – Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, USB Type-C, NFC, 4G VoLTE, FM Radio, GPS, and GLONASS. It measures 150 x 78 x 9.8mm and weighs 178 grams.
Sony Xperia L2 will compete with the likes of Oppo F5, Moto X4 and Honor 9i among others.
