Indian OEM company Smartron has launched their latest budget smartphone tPhone P today (11 January). tPhone P comes at an affordable price of Rs 7,999 and will be exclusively available through Flipkart during a flash sale starting from 12:01 pm on January 17. Major highlight of the smartphone is its massive 5,000 mAh battery.
tPhone P runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat and powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 octa-core processor coupled with 3GB RAM. It has 32GB internal storage which is expandable up to 128GB through a MicroSD card (hybrid dual-SIM configuration). Smartron is also offering 1TB free cloud storage.
The metal body handset features a 5.2-inch HD (1280x720) IPS display with 2.5D curved glass. It sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. On the front is a 5-megapixel selfie camera with LED flash.
The dual-SIM smartphone is backed a 5,000mAh battery which the company claims can last up to two days. There is a rear mounted fingerprint sensor with which users can unlock the phone, take pictures and answer calls.
Connectivity options are- Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, 4G VoLTE, 3.5mm headphone jack, Micro-USB 2.0, OTG, and GPS. The handset measures 148.3 x 72.2 x 8.9mm and weighs 160 grams.
