AQFIT - a smartwatch that measures BP
There a dozens of smartwatches that measure heart rate, steps, calories but none that can measure blood pressure and blood oxygen levels. My main interest in AQFIT was for it’s blood pressure capability. So what’s in this smartwatch.
Features
Priced at Rs.5999 this watch does have some interesting features. For example it has Bosch and Nordic sensors. The glass used is 5th generation Corning Gorilla glass. The chipset is NRF52832 by Nordic. The core of this chip is m4 which means more efficient battery life and the battery can last even more than 15 days if message notifications etc are turned off.
Coming to the blood pressure measurement I wouldn't call it completely accurate but it does help having something on the wrist that can give an indicative reading once you have calibrated the reading on the smartwatch with the actual blood pressure. The SPO2 measurement is fairly accurate.
For the price AQFIT may well be a handy device for someone who is interested in controlling his blood pressure, if calibrated well. With features such custom faces and others AQFIT is well worth the money.
