To expand its mid-range smartphone portfolio in India, Samsung has launched the new J7 Duo. Major highlights of the handset includes Android 8.0 Oreo, 8-megapixel selfie snapper and a dual rear camera setup.
Priced at Rs 16,999, Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo will be available in retail stores across India starting from 12 April. The handset comes in two colours- gold and black.
Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo runs on latest Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box. It is powered by an octa-core Exynos 7870 processor coupled with 4GB RAM. It has 32GB internal storage which is expandable up to 256GB through a MicroSD card.
J7 Duo features a 5.5-inch HD (1280x720) super AMOLED display. It sports a rear dual camera with 13-megapixel and 5-megapixel sensors. The rear camera have f/1.9 aperture, LED flash and Live Focus feature with which users can click portraits with background blur. The rear camera is also capable of shooting FHD (1920x1080) videos at 30 frames per second.
On the front is an 8-megapixel selfie snapper with f/1.9 aperture, Beauty mode and LED flash.
The dual-SIM handset is backed by a 3,000mAh battery. The phone also has face unlock feature with which you can unlock the device by looking at the front camera.
Connectivity options includes- Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, Micro USB 2.0, 4G VoLTE, 3.5mm headphone jack, and Location. It measures 153.5 x 77.2 x 8.1mm.
