RBL Bank Appoints Murali Ramakrishnan As Additional Non-executive Director
RBL Bank has appointed Murali Ramakrishnan as an (Additional) Non-executive Director of the bank, with effect from Thursday, 11 April. Ramakrishnan has been appointed for a period of four years by RBL Bank.
The private lender indicated that Ramakrishnan would not be required to retire by rotation. He is also not precluded from holding the position of Director by any SEBI order or other regulatory or legislative authority, the bank stated in a regulatory filing.
RBL Bank commented on the move, saying, "The appointment of Murali Ramakrishnan strengthens the board considering his rich experience of 37 years as a commercial banker."
