Our lives are whizzing past us at a breakneck speed. Today sensory overload is the norm, and being busy, thoroughly glorified. The bane and boon of technology don’t really help either. Despite helping us remain connected, it robs us of our peace of mind. To combat this warfare urban havens are mushrooming everywhere.
AbhiBindu a point where the mind, the body and the soul meet, is one such space. "The meeting point" as partners Mumta Dugal Sharma and Harika Sachdev describe it.
As you enter the little gate that leads you to the property, the positive energy is palpable.
"This is a place where the mind, body and soul get aligned aided by the vibrant energy positive ecology. AbhiBindu has become a space for holistic wellness-mind, body and soul rejuvenation,” shared Mumta and Harika.
AbhiBindu happened to them almost without trying. Mumta shares that they met quite fortuitously during a training that Harika was conducting at the venue. "We shared how we both secretly dreamt of offering a place for holistic personal growth. This was in December 2016. AbhiBindu is the collective, conscious manifestation of that dream. There was an unspoken understanding and synergy as far as the direction we wanted to gently nudge AbhiBindu towards,” shared Mumta.
The beauty is that it soon and very organically became a platform and venue for hosting workshops and programmes that furthered positivity, wellbeing, healing, mindfulness, learning and development.
They believe that as life is becoming increasingly stressful and lives more fragmented, the quest for inner peace and a more meaningful existence is seeing a steadily growing, small yet determined community.
AbhiBindu is frequented by an eclectic bunch of people, motivated by various reasons, in different stages of their personal journeys.
From relatively actualised people and those who want to further grow, or people who are experimental and looking for new ways to de-stress.
This community of like-minded people believes in conscious awareness, spiritual dimensions of our existence, holistic, natural wellness and personal growth. These people are on a journey towards a more compassionate and responsible way of life.
The USP of AbhiBindu is that the place is a quiet, hidden gem in the heart of the city. It offers an opportunity to getaway from the humdrum of city life and delve deeper into your inner self, without having to step out of town. they even have a quaint B n B facility.
"We both are personally involved in taking care of all aspects of the Programs in an effort to ensure that the takeaway is been a meaningful one. We like to associate with equally committed, experienced and passionate facilitators so that we become a platform for authentic information and experiences."
Yoga, Meditation, Life Coaching, NLP Workshops, EFT, Zentangle & Art Therapy, QiGong, Aura Healing, SRT and various other modalities of Energy Healing, Family Constellations, Crystal Healing, Chakra Balancing, Hypnotherapy, Sound Therapy, Sujok, programs promoting Health and Nutrition and a consciously balanced approach to life are conducted here.
"We have had the good fortune of hosting Nithya Shanti’s JoyShop, a Mooji Retreat with Rohini Singh and sharing of the French healer, Rene Mey’s healing techniques. Recently we tied up with Indo-German health centre to take a meaningful step towards holistic wellness by offering special therapies in naturopathy and Ayurveda through AbhiBindu.” shared Harika.
Harika and Mumta conduct corporate workshops both on and off-site too.
Harika shared that, "Retreats are inspirational and promote personal growth like nothing else. They afford you the opportunity to spend time with yourself, helping you align your thoughts, actions with your goals – personal and professional. It is our vision to offer this chance at transformation to all we can touch. Our retreats are coming very soon."
While there are many players in this space from Zorba the Buddha, Lotus Sutra and Soul Centric amongst others, the duo feels that there is no need to compete as there is enough room for everyone. “We are grateful to just be part of this space and would like to share this offering with, and empower as many as possible. We would like to have made a meaningful difference to the lives of a significant number of people – facilitating them to be more present, whole and complete in the lives they choose to lead,” underlined Mumta.
In the next 5 years, the twosome hopes AbhiBindu becomes an integral part of the worldwide movement towards holistic wellness, spiritual awakening, sustainable and environment-friendly living.
