Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) play a vital role in the economy, bringing innovation, diversity, job creation and economic growth. These businesses are characterised by a relatively smaller scale with fewer employees and lower revenue as compared to large corporations. SMEs are diverse and can operate in various sectors, including retail, services, technology, manufacturing and more.
To celebrate and recognise the best-emerging businesses in India, BW SME World presents its 5th Edition of Emerging Business Summit & Awards. The summit unites industry experts, entrepreneurs, investors, and growing firms from across India's sectors and regions. The categories are fragmented into three distinct sections. 'Individuals' in the award category include Best Women-Led Emerging Enterprise, Leader of the Year Creating Emerging Business, and Young Leader of the Year (Under 40) Creating Emerging Business. The second division includes award-winning 'enterprises' in the categories of Most Innovative Products by Emerging Enterprise, Best Digitally Enabled Enterprise, Best Emerging Enterprise Creating Social Impact, Best Product & Service by Emerging Enterprise, and Most Innovative Emerging Enterprise. The third and final section of the award category consists of 'support' in the form of Best Skill Development Institution for MSME and Best MSME Financing Institution.
