Mswipe on Tuesday, in a statement, said that, in order to make ease of digital payment, it has gone live with e-RUPI, a contactless instrument by the Union Government for all its 6.75 lakh POS and 1.1 million QR merchants.
Earlier in August, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the digital payment solution e-RUPI, a person and purpose-specific digital payment solution via video conference. e-RUPI is a cashless and contactless instrument for digital payment.
Mswipe, by associating with the Indian government-backed e-RUPI, is aiming to boost up the merchants in order to get digital payments by just scanning the QR or SMS string-based voucher on the user's phone.
Ankit Bhatnagar, Head of Product, Mswipe said told a leading media house that e-RUPI based on the UPI platform will grow the digital payments infrastructure in India. This will also empower businesses to accept payments in an easy way from customers. Giving e-RUPI a platform is a step towards our commitment to empowering our merchants.
Now merchants or sellers can utilize the ‘UPI Voucher’ function on the Mswipe Merchant Application to accept prepaid e-RUPI based payments from customers.
