Lenovo owned Motorola has launched their flagship handset Moto Z2 Force in India. The handset was first launched in US in July last year. The USP of Moto Z2 Force is its ShatterShield display which is guaranteed not to crack or shatter with a guarantee of four years. Moto Z2 Force will compete with the likes of OnePlus 5T, Mi Mix 2, Samsung Galaxy A8+, and Nokia 8 among others.
Priced at Rs 34,999, the handset will be available for buyers starting tonight (15 February), 11:59 pm onwards through Flipkart and Moto Hubs across India. Moto Z2 Force will be available in black colour only.
Moto Z2 Force runs on Android 8.0 Oreo our-of-the-box and powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 Octa-core processor coupled with 6GB RAM. It has 64GB internal storage which is expandable up to 2TB through a MicroSD card.
Moto Z2 Force features a 5.5-inch QHD (2560x1440) POLED ShatterShield display. It sports a 12-MP+12-MP rear dual camera with f/2.0 aperture and LED Flash. On the front is a 5-MP selfie-camera with f/2.2 aperture and front flash.
Moto Z2 is backed by a 2730mAh battery with TurboPower charging. It has a front mounted fingerprint sensor. It measures 155.8x76x6.1mm and weighs 143 grams. The handset is spill proof due to it’s the water repellent nano coating makes the handset spill proof.
Connectivity options are – Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, A-GPS, Moto Mods, and Type-C USB. The smartphone doesn't have a 3.5-mm audio-jack, instead, it is routed through USB port which is also used for charging and data transferring.
Motorola also launched new Moto Mods with the smartphone- Moto turbopower, Moto Gamepad, and JBL Soundboost 2.
