The motive behind this murder remains unknown. Seth was apprehended in a shocking turn of events when her suspicious actions raised concerns among hotel staff in Goa. Having initially checked in with her son, Seth left the premises alone, prompting the hotel staff to investigate further.
Upon inspection of the apartment she had occupied, housekeeping staff discovered bloodstains, triggering an immediate alarm. The police then communicated with the driver in Konkani, the local language of Goa, maintaining discretion about their ongoing investigation. They directed the driver to reroute the cab to the nearest police station in Chitradurga, approximately 200 km from Bengaluru. It was at this location that Seth was ultimately arrested.
The gravity of the situation was communicated to the accused's husband, Venkat Raman, himself an AI developer.
