Max Life Insurance Names Iqbal Mir As Vice President Of HR

Max Life Insurance has appointed Iqbal Mir as its Vice President of Human Resources, effective March 2024.

Bringing more than 17 years of HR leadership experience spanning HR consulting, management consulting and insurance sectors, Iqbal previously held the position of Deputy Vice President of HR at Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance.

His career includes roles such as AVP HR Business Partner at Bajaj Allianz Life, HRBP- Zonal Head North at MetLife, HR-Business Consultant at KPMG India and HR for Business Consulting and Technology Team at Deloitte. He began his career with Manpower Recruitment and later joined Planman HR.

Iqbal holds an MBA/PGDM in Human Resources from Fortune Institute of International Business and has completed certifications in HR Leadership and Strategic HR from Harvard Business School Executive Education, as well as from Cornell University. His expertise lies in recruitment, employee engagement, talent acquisition and retention, talent management, HR compliance and management consulting.
